Bobby Gene Barefield September 18, 1944–January 5, 2024 Sacramento, California We honor the life of Bobby Gene Barefield who transitioned to his heavenly home on January 5, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on September 18, 1944, to Finas Dave Barefield Sr. and Opal Louise Barefield (Rose). Bobby married Velma Lois Barefield (Groce) in 1968 and was a devoted father and grandfather. His presence was a source of constant joy and laughter. Bobby leaves behind a host of brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces (great), nephews (great), and extended family, and friends. The Celebration of Life for Bobby Gene Barefield will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Saint Paul Church of Sacramento, 3996 14th Avenue, Sacramento, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his name to Next Move Homeless Services.
